Took a look at it today, and all the gyprock is done. Ready to put all the architraves in for next week.
Oh we also have a little balcony now! The railing must have gone up on Friday as well. I love the white, it looks great with the white window frames, and will look perfect with white shutters!
We were also told by Wisdom, that we were not allowed to change the position of the alarm GPO (which we put under the stairs) and it had to be in bedroom 3 WIR as the display, however we got this moved into the linen closet we thought it was a more suitable place for it? SS confirmed this was done by the electrician.
We got the next progress payment for the second last stage of our build, and some pretty good news in terms of deadlines:
Wed 14th: Bricks will be cleaned and treated
By next Friday 16th: Skirting, stairs, architraves, doors will be installed
Monday 19th: LOCK-UP?!
After lockup, 6-7 weeks until completion - so looking at beginning of July
Wow the end is nigh!
It was really something special walking into the house today with the gyprock done, having walls and no bricks or frame or insulation in sight. We thought it would look smaller, but all the areas we were worried about being small are pretty big so we left very happy.
I hope Wisdom can keep up the pace now :)
Enjoy the daylight photography this time!
